The annual camping expedition. This year we ventured to Napier's Kennedy Park. The kids had a ball, we managed to relax and made sure we ventured out to see something each day. Olive and Iris were loving being on dishes duty!

Bird rescue sisters, Olive found some baby birds who had fallen out of their nest after a windy night, we left one pair and watched from a distance as the mama bird was still feeding them, the other pair we took to the SPCA. I was so proud of our caring girls. It turns out they were wax eye birds.

Juni went to bed really well during camping, usually coming into our bed around 5am. One morning after a night of rain and the sun was shining Juni said 'look Mummy, shining stars! No no no! Its not stars, it's just water on the tent!' They were glorious to look at.
