While we were away, nan and grandad kindly had a sleepover with the girls. They all did really well sleeping (iris even slept in!) nan took olive off to Maia's party which was a big deal too. Nice to know they were happy. Book another weekend?

Cheap Wednesday at the zoo so we headed there while oli was at Kindy (felt guilty!) wiry a few of iris's little buddies, Chloe, Olivia and from Kindy Elle & Naomi. Iris fascinated by the swinging chimps, muddy pigs and giraffes eating. She was a lot more engaged this time around too. Walked all the way so maybe next time no buggy?

Catchup with cuzzies with biking and bush fun. Followed by a yummy picnic in the sun. Love these winter days.

For KPC Tamaraki Nui we visited SPCA in the old fever station (used to have tb patients). It is huge and very cool! We got to meet a curious bunny, lots of playful puppies and hiding kittens. They even do parties there! Olive loved patches the pup and how soft the bunny was.

Olives most elaborate duplo creation yet. Always centered around housing animals. This one has a playground, school, bedrooms and balloon umbrellas!

Mia's fifth birthday party at Junglerama was a big hit. Lower Hutt is so much better than newtowns setup too. Olive was happy to go off and try everything, and super excited to play with Maia as mermaids. (recently left for school)
