The drive home was pretty good. Olive fell asleep at 10.30am (must have been tired!) we managed to stop at the Raumati marine gardens for some lunch and water fun at the playground before the last hour drive back. It was good to know where to stop for kids on a long drive.

We donned our bests for Dan and Kats wedding at the boat shed. Granny had the task of dealing with the little ones (thanks Granny!) which went well until Iris decided not take the bottle (a recent development) and cutting Mums evening short. Daddy stumbled home at 2am.

I think we forget how far our mr Stinkle has come since we have had him in our lives. He is so good with Olive. Will know play fetch and loves chasing with her. Ignores Iris completely which is to be expected at this age. He loves toilet rolls. Will even stick his head through the door if one is ready. His other favourite toy is the native cabbage leaves for chasing with. We love you buddy.

(Might need a balance bike now!) Iris enjoyed some time with herself. Smiling to impress! She loves hanging in the baby pit and watching everything from her tummy and now the mirror too!

The Vege garden is in full swing again. Potatoes, tomatoes, chilis, beans, snow peas, carrots, beetroot, herbs. The apple tree is looking great and the raspberries are forming. Hoping for a good yield this year!

First time Rissy rides shotgun with big sister at the supermarket. Nearly fell asleep at the end - so much to see! Had a lovely swim date with Olive today, she loved the water and swim ring. She was really confident walking around in the deep end and jumping into my arms. Loved it so much I had a hard time getting her out!
