Day 4 of the urticaria rash and it has nearly gone so olive was back at KCC which she enjoyed. Duvet cover went back on and we had two wake ups, not sure if it was cover and cold related. We had some lovely picnic cave play this afternoon. Can't wait for Iris to be a playmate.

Pizza picnic dinner at the new peck rental. With the kids enjoying the running circuit for ages and a catnap for olive we lasted until a wapping 7.30pm - living it up these days! Iris did really well and slept 95% of the time with a short spell of colic hour.

We visited Jan and Jerry so they could meet Iris. They gave Olive some fridge magnet letters which she loved racing from the lounge one at a time to place on the fridge.

Disney on ice! Olive sat captivated for 2 hours, only mentioning the Captain Hook's 'huge crocodile' and 'tinkabell' after getting home olive 'wants more ice skating' and loved stand on one leg. Mummy really enjoyed reconnecting with her favourites like Ariel, the little mermaid and the lion king. It's funny how they were our generation characters and still going strong!

Even though I was late with planting the tulips, they are still good! All growing well! We popped outside while the sun was shining and olive said to me 'mummy why you wearing your jammie's? That's a bit strange' (I was in fact wearing trackpants), getting fashion advice from a two year old, it is sad day.

What a glorious day today! It reminded us of summer. Could it be the light at the end if the winter tunnel? Started getting excited about blossoms and tulips! (Yes getting very old) enjoyed a solo trio buggy ride to music and library. Even opened the French doors and did a spot of gardening. Olive played nicely in and outside for a good period too. Bliss.

We managed 7 kids and 4 adults for lunch on the parade cafe boat for lunch and it went really well! Geeze it's nice having family and more cousins to play with! It's going to be hard saying goodbye.
