Olive has settled into play group nicely. She's happy to be dropped off both days and she's starting to get into all the activities and be chatty with the ladies. She even ate some lunch for the first time today! Our little girl is becoming more independent by the day.

We had a fun Easter weekend in Taupo. Olive continued her no nap policy even during the 6.5hr drive there and 6hr drive home - luckily she slept well at night. We managed to enjoy some sunshine in between the rain. The kids had a great time mucking around together - Olive and Violet playing their "that's mine" game was a laugh.

Driveway madness. With very mixed dramatic weather throughout the day (rain, sun, rain) we managed a easter hunt, bubbles on the new flash deck and biking races on the long driveway. Olive and Violet had their usual banter 'mine' 'no, mine' 'no my bike' 'no mine' with them both smiling. They did it all weekend over anything 'my chair' 'no mine' and 'my mummy' which ended with 'my Ginny' (which was so lovely of Violet to say). The girls are really getting along, so cute.

Lately Olive is climbing over everything, jumping on everything and even skipping at times. She always has to jump down the last step. She is very confident on her feet. She love playing catch with her hands out ready and kicking the ball around spontaneously.

Olive decided to play hide and seek. She disappeared for about 5mins so I went to seek her out, found her hiding in our bedroom corner, then I said hide again, this time she went behind the couch, giggling when I said 'where is olive' lastly the curtain was a favourite, sitting behind it for a good 20mins, even when I had found her half a dozen times.
