We finally did the Waitomo caves! What a delight. Lots of driving, so we went to Hamilton gardens for lunch and a hot wander. More magical spaces I hadn’t seen before. Favorite was the Mansfield tea party. Girls liked the surrealism Alice one and daddy the Italian.
